  • A notice from Superintendent Rivera, notifying parents and guardians of the school closure, effective March 18, 2020, was sent home with your student.  To read a copy of this notice, please click one of the links below.

Update:  District schools will remain closed until further notice.  Please see Superintendent Rivera's statement on the matter:

The Delano Union School District continues to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff. Consistent with the Governor's Executive Orders, and with the available public health information, DUSD schools remain closed at this time. Our teachers and staff are working each day to provide educational opportunities to our students, and food services and child care for our families. The District is conducting essential business and adjusting to changing circumstances. The work of education is ongoing. DUSD is closely monitoring all legal and public health developments, and our schools will reopen as soon as this can be accomplished consistent with state-level directives and the public health needs of our community. In the meantime, we assure our students and families that we are doing everything in our power to maximize our effectiveness under present circumstances while at the same time planning for the day when we can once again welcome precious students and outstanding staff back to our campuses.
    Rosalina Rivera, Superintendent
    Delano Union School District
