• Dear Parent or Guardian,

    We are excited to inform you about Sun Bucks, also known as the Summer EBT program, which provides eligible families with extra food benefits to help feed their children during the summer months.

    If your household income is less than 185% of the federal poverty level, children in your household may be eligible for the SUN Bucks program.

    Participating families will receive $120 per eligible child that you can use to buy food during the summer at grocery stores, farmers' markets, and other authorized retailers.

    If you think your children are eligible, please complete the attached application and return it to your child's school by September 2, 2025. If you need assistance filling out the application, please contact Amelia Jauregui at 661-721-5000, ext. 00125.

    You will need to provide your child's name, school, and date of birth, along with the names of the people in your household, your household income, and the address where the benefit card should be sent.
